Four Pieces for Concert performance
These pieces have been designed to be used as an aid to students of jazz.
Each has a different repeating chord structure, in varied styles, so the player can either play the printed score version or, after some practice time, experiment with some of their own improvisation. The written scores provide examples of typical jazz riffs, scales, arpeggios and phrasing.
Suitable for players and students of grade 5+

The accompanying CD provides backing tracks by a jazz combo for all the pieces and also a performance of the printed score version of each piece by various woodwind instruments (to see how they should go)
